Bogentandler News : Avalon Tec One 600 Laser Entfernungsmesser – sicher kein Testbericht!
After I had made my "Bogentandler" rich once again, and a supplier was a bit of a bitch, I found an inconspicuous package as a small compensation, along with my order. "Take a look at this and tell me what you think!" was written on a post-it note.
So I open the box and think to myself, "What's this?". "I'm not a spotter in the US Marines," I continue to think to myself, but with increasing curiosity. Some kind of semi-utopian-looking thing lies in my hand, and after a quick look it actually turns out to be a rangefinder.
Great - and I, as a persuasive intuitive who already gets ear cancer when he inadvertently has to listen to the distance estimates of the club members at the regulars' table. No matter - even though the chances of the little friend being appreciated by me were not good, I took him with me on the next course walk.
My conclusion 1 - fine piece - almost square - practical - good!
It does what it is supposed to do, namely measure distances, without any "ifs and buts". The one-handed / one-finger operation is extremely simple, which suited me very well as a consistent denier of operating instructions. Even the additional functions such as angle, height, speed, ... measurements are intuitively internalised in just a few minutes, even though most of them won't really be needed on the course. In short - hold it to your eye - switch it on with your index finger on the "big button" - aim + press the "big button" again - read off the monocular and/or optionally on the side display - done. It couldn't be simpler. Simply TOP for the price!!!
My conclusion 2 - also fun for intuitives, even if you don't necessarily need it.
But it's such a great way to disenchant the "evil deer", which is "at least, if not further away", in front of the connoisseur-appreciating bow clique by holding the display with "only" 40m under their noses. I'm not giving this thing away - that's for sure!
